The thing was out in ah when we would go out on weekends, we wore our civvies. It had been said if you wanted to travel anywhere on leave or anything like that or on your pass wear your uniform and you’ll get picked up. Well, it had come to the point where it wasn’t wise to wear your uniform anymore. If you were in civilian clothes you really didn’t get bothered.
