Ian Little: What memorials have you been to then, you went to Ohio, the air force, have you been to the one in DC?
Ed Stewart: 3 Times.
Ian Little: 3 times.
Ed Stewart: Our group went together, West Central Indiana Veterans Association. The guy that was in the group, his dad had a motorhome, and he let us have his motor home, and we went out there as a group, a couple of cars followed us up, so we had about 20 members up there. And it was very emotional, I’m glad I went, and I would still go again. The only thing that I don’ t want to do was go on a n airplane that takes us out there, I had a bad experience on an airplane and I’m here, and I’d just sooner Nothing to do with the program, but I’d rather not get on there. The memorial in Washington is something else. I’d say it was 20 years ago, when the Vietnam veterans group put together the moving wall, at the Holiday Inn, and the way it was setup, it was on the grass. And for 2 years, the grass didn’t grow back in that area where we walked. It was very awesome. They believed that when people came to sign it, 25,000 people came through it in a weeks’ time, so for a little town. We also had the covered bridge festival comes in on the same weekend which is kinda known, it was really fantastic. People that couldn’t get there -It is half size, but it tears your heart out when you see it.
